Representatives stated, “Since the Wonder Girls have been away for so long, they’re putting a lot of work and passion into making sure their comeback album and performances are perfect. Fans will once again feel the charm that’s unique to the Wonder Girls. Please look forward to their new album!”

The Wonder Girls posed like rock stars for the latest issue of ‘Cosmopolitan‘ magazine.

For the magazine’s September issue, the girls talked about the Hallyu wave, what they’ve been up to, and their future plans.

When asked how the Wonder Girls were able to create such an impact all over the world, Sohee replied that it might be because they carried an image that’s hard to define.

Meanwhile, Yenny revealed that she’s been working extra hard on the upcoming album because J.Y. Park promised to let her openly date someone afterwards.

Wonder Girls‘ Sohee recently showed off a sophisticated look for Lancome’s ‘Vision of Beauty‘ photoshoot.

With her pure white skin and and cat-like eyes, Sohee drew admiration from all those who viewed her shots. She’s definitely proven that she isn’t the little ‘Omona!’ girl anymore, as she exudes the confident aura of a girl ready to grow up and become a woman.

For its campaign, cosmetics brand Lancome asked the endorsing stars about their personal ‘vision of beauty’. Sohee had said, “Being with the people around us is what I consider beautiful.”

Wonder Girls’ Sunmi preparing for a comeback?

It’s known that Wonder Girls‘ inactive member Sunmi has been continuously visiting the JYP agency to receive training. However, sources have been recently tipped off that she has been preparing for a comeback.

Starting last year, Sunmi attended Dongguk University as a first year theater major. As soon as the 1st term ended for summer vacation, Sunmi has been returning consistently to JYP’s studio to hone her singing and dancing skills. Although an official comeback was never planned as Sunmi left the Wonder Girls and began attending Dongguk University in February of last year, JYP and Sunmi continuously prepared themselves for a possible return.

On the matter, JYP comments, “It’s true that Sunmi has been receiving the level of training as if she was completely a part of the agency. Early this year after she enrolled into the university she has been coming to the agency to receive training whenever she’s had free time.”

About Sunmi’s comeback, JYP says, “Specific plans for her comeback have not been arranged. Whether she’s to make a solo comeback or return to a group, no decisions have been made.”

Thousands and thousands and thousands of you came to Billboard.com in recent weeks to vote on which song Korean pop sensations Wonder Girls should play for their Mashup Monday cover. It was close, but B.o.B and Bruno Mars‘ hip-hop/R&B-tinged “Nothin’ On You” won with 47% of the vote, narrowly beating out poppy Miley Cyrus‘ “Party In The U.S.A.” which got 43%. Far less of you, 10%, went for The Band Perry‘s “Hip To My Heart.” So you asked for it, you got it! Check out Wonder Girls’ sweet version of “Nothin’ On You” in the player above.

Those of you in the know — and that’s hundreds of thousands of you — know that while they may be young, Wonder Girls are a certified musical force in their native South Korea and around the world. That’s part of the reason we chose them for Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list last fall.

“We just want to express our love to our fans,” says WG Sunye of the fact that so many voted for “Nothin’ On You.” “It’s a perfect song.”

“The first thing was arranging the instruments,” adds WG Yeeun. “I started practicing piano and then we added two more guitarists. And later a percussionist joined. And also we were travelling a lot, so we couldn’t stay at one place. We had to practice on the street on the way.”

After opening America’s eyes to their infectious dance-pop opening for the Jonas Brothers in 2009 and on a 2010 American tour of their own, Wonder Girls — who are also reality TV stars in South Korea — are set to release an official American debut album sometime this year. It’s still shrouded in secrecy, but if the group’s previous success is any indication, it will certainly find its fans! The Girls’ first U.S. single, 2009′s “Nobody,” hit the Billboard 200 effortlessly.

miss A’s Min and YeEun show their close friendship through a series of selcas

JYP Nation’s Min of miss A and Ye Eun of the Wonder Girlsrecently got together and shot a cute series of doll-like selcas.

On July 31st, Ye Eun wrote on her Twitter, “We’re practicing at the moment~ keke”, and attached two pictures of the duo.

The series of eight photos show Min and Ye Eun posing for the camera with various cute expressions, all the while wearing comfortable training clothes for their dance practice.

Fans commented, “It’s nice to see that you guys looks so close”, “You look like two sisters”, and “You guys both look like dolls.”
